how are you? I'm

I’m a psychologist and postpartum doula helping families get ready for the changes that come when a baby arrives. I’d be happy to get to know you in English or Hebrew.

about me

Hey family!

With my education and experience as a psychologist and a postpartum Doula, you can be sure that you are in warm, caring, empathic, trustworthy, reliable, dedicated, and patient hands when you invite me to be your postpartum doula. Also, my own experience of the transition to motherhood has given me a new perspective into what caring for Newborn Mothers really means.

Everyone wants to hold the baby, but who holds the mother? That’s exactly what I am here to do. My passion, at Mothers Transition, is to provide information for families who are getting ready for the transformation that comes with postpartum. From couple’s coaching to postpartum food planning. I also host mothers circles and offer complete in-home postpartum support packages for families.

I'll bring peace and confidence to your postpartum journey. I'll help you feel seen, heard, and validated.

My job is to care for you: need a tea? a massage? a nap? I'm there for you.

Focus: YOU

Let's leave behind the overwhelming amount of information. I'll help you find your own voice.

Here’s a quick list of my services for families and birthing people:

“I got to know Danielle through a Whatsapp group chat for international moms while I was about 6 months pregnant and was sharing my worries about after birth. Me and my husband were having our first child at corona time and non of our family members could travel to Finland to help us. To be honest, before birth I found this service unnecessary. After birth, I got exposed to a whole new life which felt so overwhelming and stressful at the beginning. I was super emotional, exhausted, in physical pain, and no time for rest as I had to take care of my little one. There, we decided to consider hiring a postpartum Doula, mostly for my own wellbeing and mental health. Having Danielle for several days at our house was lovely, she helped us go through the challenge with more positive attitude, she cooked nice warm meals for us which is the best thing that can ever happen to a family with a newborn, she gave me relaxing massages and yoni steaming, listened to me talking about all kinds of emotions I've been experiencing, helped me and my partner to openly discuss about our expectations and offered us some tips. In general, she created a warm cozy atmosphere for us at home. I really think her presence in our house during the first month after birth was very helpful. Personally, I do not encourage any couple to go through the postpartum time alone. If you can have help great, otherwise a doula can be a great choice to help you going through it."
